GROM — OKTOBER GUARD

Grom brings raw Soviet firepower to the Oktober Guard. Alexander Sokolov was once an Olympic weightlifting prospect before a violent streak and disciplinary problems ended those ambitions. The Soviet military found a better use for his strength, endurance and aggression. After proving himself in Afghanistan, Sokolov earned the name “Grom”—Thunder—and eventually a place among the Guard’s hard-bitten international operators.

Built to carry what other soldiers would rather leave behind, Grom serves as the team’s heavy weapons infantryman. His primary rifle is an AK-pattern assault rifle, backed by an RPG-7 launcher and four RPG rounds for taking on armor, fortified positions and anything else requiring a considerably louder solution. A large combat knife handles problems at considerably closer range. Within the Guard, Grom maintains a fierce rivalry with Horrorshow over strength, endurance and who can carry the heavier load without admitting fatigue.

This custom 1:12-scale Grom comes equipped with his AK rifle, RPG-7 launcher, four RPG rounds, large combat knife with sheath, custom file card and two foot stands. His extensive Russian-inspired tattoos, heavy field gear and battle-worn appearance give him a look all his own while fitting naturally alongside the classic Oktober Guard. No fancy speeches. No fancy codename. Point Grom toward the fight and listen for the thunder.
